Connecting two schools
The story of Radnor Middle School in Pennsylvania and Buppala Primary School in Uganda illustrates how one very successful project got started and could be applied to your educational setting.
Since 2009, sixth graders at Radnor have been learning about their pen pals’ lives in a Buppala, a rural village in Uganda. They have become concerned citizens, activists, social entrepreneurs, fundraisers, gardeners and researchers.
